Stamp In & Out
At Star Yacht Group, we take care of every detail related to crew embarkation and disembarkation, providing dedicated support for immigration formalities to ensure full compliance with local and international regulations.
Whether your crew members are Schengen visa-exempt or require entry documentation, our team will handle the entire process with discretion and efficiency. From crew lists to immigration clearances, we work closely with port authorities to guarantee smooth and timely transitions — so captains and management can focus on operations, not paperwork.
We are committed to providing peace of mind with 24/7 availability.
Stamp in procedure is requested for foreign flag vessels signing off crew member that already hold a valid stamp out.
The request has to be processed at least 5 days prior the disembarkation.
Exception to the rule: In the event the signing off crew visa is expired, a transit visa has to be requested. The transit visa has 3 to 5 days validity only in Italian territory, therefore, for those flight departing from Olbia Airport, only Italian airports layovers would be accepted, layover in other Schengen countries (other than Italy would not be accepted). Refer to point n. 3 below.

Stamp out is requested for signing on crew members. Stamp out procedure has to be requested at least within 5 days from the crew embarkation onboard the yacht and the procedure has to be initiated at least 3 days from the crew member’s arrival.
Exception to the rule: In the event that the crew member is already onboard, the stamp out can be obtain within a maximum of 7 days from the embarkation of the crew, and the Captain has to declare that stamping out procedure was not doable in the previous port of call (this is possible only if we are the second port of call in Schengen area).
If 7 days have been exceed and the stamp out has not been processed, upon disembarkation of the crew, the immigration Office will release a statement listing all the working days, deducting them from the days available on the Schengen visa. Refer to point n. 3 below.
